Relationships were always the name of the game in Never Have I Ever as Devi Vishwakumar looked to make a boyfriend.

But by the end of season three, with everyone around her entering into relationships, Davey remains celibate and regrets Ben that she will likely die a virgin if her luck in the romance continues. In response, Ben offered to give Davey a voucher for “One Free Boink”.

But what exactly is the meaning of “boink” in this context and what effect can the coupon have on the future of Never Have I Ever?

In episode 9 of Season 3 of Never Have I Ever, Davey’s latest romance with newcomer Des breaks down after Des’ mother expresses her concerns about the relationship.

She worries that Davey has “a lot of problems” and that she could be having a bad influence on her son.

Back in school, Davey reveals her breakup with Ben and she regrets that she will likely die a virgin after experiencing many romantic failures.

In an effort to help Davey happy, Ben gave her a “One Free Boink” coupon.

The latest episode of Davey and Ben sure was a huge talking point among fans, with many turning to social media to offer their thoughts.

However, this viewer wasn’t too impressed, saying, “I never did in season 3, the ending of season 3 was so weird, like Ben wasn’t going on a date with the art girl and then he acted like he was about to tell Davey his feelings, Then they act out and most likely sink in, so what happens?”

“Why did Davy go to Boink with Ben?” Another fan asked. “I desperately wanted her to go to Shropland School and I wanted her to end up with no one. Honestly, this could have been a better ending.”

Finally, this fan commented, “I’m not sure if I would eventually like her to go to Ben’s house to take advantage of ‘One Free Boink’, and I didn’t like Des’s mom and Des getting rid of Devi. I loved Devi and Des together and I wish I had seen them more together” .
