Stone Ocean is making a big change and fans are not happy

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Unique in that stands and characters are often named after musicians, bands, and/or songs popular across each Joestar generation. Such is the case with the latest episode of the Stone Ocean story as Jolyne Cujohn continues her journey through the Green Dolphin Street Prison. Some of these names have had to be changed, in the past, to avoid copyright issues, but one change seems to have rubbed many fans the wrong way with the return of Stone Ocean.
Sports Maximum, the villain who killed Ermes Costello’s sister, had his own platformer known as Limp Bizkit in the original manga series. When it was originally translated, the name was switched to a creative workaround in “Flaccid Pancake”. However, for reasons yet to be disclosed, the English version of the adapted movie changes the carrier’s name from “Flaccid Pancake” to “Limp Vizkit” with the letter “V”. Needless to say, some fans didn’t feel the change from the original and were more than happy to share their frustration online.
Currently, the latest installment of the installments includes episodes 13 through 24, and while the third installment of Stone Ocean has been confirmed for a physical Blu-ray set next March, a Netflix release date has not been revealed.

I did dirty
Netflix *cowards* for changing Limp’s localization name to “Limp Viscuit” instead of superior “Flaccid Pancake” in JoJo Stone Ocean Part 2. Makes me worry about Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap Translated name – dirty business at reasonable price pic.twitter.com/nJuY0U9fAI

disappointing
He didn’t say Bruh Sportx Maxx at Stone’s Ocean Dube Pancake Flaccid, but Limp Viscuit.
Disappointed, but damned.

strict
The Stone Ocean anime used “Limp Viscuit” as the localization name for Limp Bizkit instead of “Flaccid Pancake” as the games did. I will never forgive them for this.

Jojo knows something about alternate timelines
I wish I lived in the alternate timeline where someone in the JoJo Stone Ocean dub had to say “Flaccid Pancake” out loud.
