NBA 2K22 Season 9 update release date and start time confirmed
Ahead of NBA 2K23’s release next month, the final season of NBA 2K22 will arrive Friday with some brand-new content to guide players until the next installment of the series is released. Season 9 promises to bring a new endgame and indomitable rewards to myTeam, as well as updated rewards for MyCareer, and much more.
Visual Concepts published an all-new patch earlier this week, which means fans can now pre-load the Season 9 update ready for Friday’s release. With the upcoming season of NBA 2K22 ending in September, fans of the series will be able to jump right into NBA 2K23, which is set to launch on September 9 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Meanwhile, Season 9 of NBA 2K22 is just around the corner and Visual Concepts has confirmed the exact release date and start time for the game’s final season ever.
When will NBA 2K22 season 9 come out?
As confirmed via the official Twitter account NBA 2KThe ninth season of NBA 2K22 will start on Friday 12 August 2022 in 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 4 PM GMT.
The new update will be rolled out to all platforms before the start of the new season, which means players will be able to jump right in once Season 9 starts on Friday. Visual Concepts has yet to reveal the theme for Season 9, and simply stated that the final season will include:
- Endgame and indomitable MyTeam rewards
- MyTEAM limited run for 3 weeks
- Updated MyCAREER Rewards including Tiger, Jetpack and more…
