Austin Butler on iCarly is the ultimate throwback

Critics and audiences alike praised the 30-year-old American actor’s portrayal of the king of rock and roll as one of the best performances in recent memory.
Many probably recognized him from the role of Tex in Quentin Tarantino Once upon a time in Hollywood But it’s safe to say that he completely disappeared as Elvis. After seeing him in theaters, he is sure to gain a lot of new fans who want to check out his past work.
In fact, his on-screen career goes back to childhood and it turns out that Austin Butler was working on iCarly.

Austin Butler played Jake Crandell in one episode of iCarly, the Nickelodeon series starring Miranda Cosgrove in the titular role.
The show premiered in 2007, the same year Austin starred in it; The first and only episode was titled iLike Jake.
Looking back, the plot of the part focused on Jake Crandell, Carly’s crush, coming to her show to perform some music. However, it was soon revealed that he couldn’t sing quite as well as I expected.
So, you enlist some help from Freddy to solve the problem.

Fans look back at iCarly
A number of fans are looking forward to Austin’s work on iCarly after being stunned by his performance in it Elvis.

“I was kinda embarrassed’
During a recent conversation with Vogue magazineAustin Butler admitted that he felt a little embarrassed about some of his previous shows, performing on shows like iCarly, Zoe 101 (played by Daniver/James Jarrett), and Hanna Montana (Toby/Derek Hanson):
“I was kind of embarrassed about some of the things I had to do. But I had to cut my teeth somewhere, so I decided to treat each one of these jobs as a way to grow.”
He reveals that he was inclined to quit acting and pursue a career as a director. However, he was persuaded to commit to performing after landing a part in Jim Jarmusch The dead don’t die (Jack).
More opportunities began to materialize and he explained that “I felt like the stars were getting along… I just said, ‘I’m going to devote everything I have to this.'”
Elvis is now playing exclusively in theaters.
